Meet Michael

With over two decades in the financial services industry, Michael’s mission is to provide financial planning and insurance solutions for small business owners and individuals because he understands the demand for a one-stop shop where you can feel confident knowing you are in good hands regardless of your unique needs. A proud Cajun, Michael earned his degree in business management at the University of Louisiana Lafayette. Michael holds the FINRA Series 6, 7, and 65 licenses; and is licensed for life & health, as well as property & casualty insurance. Michael is an investment advisor representative through Cambridge Investment Research Advisors, Inc.

In 1997, Michael founded Corporate Financial Strategies – an employer benefit firm specializing in qualified retirement plans, group benefits, and executive compensation arrangements. In 2011, he decided to branch out and established Insurance Unlimited of Lafayette – a property casualty insurance firm. Most recently, Michael merged his financial planning operations with his longtime friends and business partners Karl Hector and Cody Delcambre to form Twenty Oak. With this new partnership, Michael is able to provide a robust offering of financial and insurance solutions to small business owners and individuals across multiple disciplines, all under one roof.

More than a business owner, Michael is also a proud family man. He has been married to his incredible wife Kathy for 25 years and claims it to be his greatest accomplishment. Together, he and Kathy have four amazing children. Their two daughters are currently forging their own paths in Texas, with one graduating from Texas Christian University this year and the other playing soccer at St. Edwards University in Austin. Their eldest son is closer to home, studying at Louisiana State University while their youngest son attends high school in Lafayette.
